Hi all! I hope you are all well and happy, and having the best summer (or winter
;) ) ever.

If you have some spare time in the coming month we would love you to stop by My
House and see what's cooking so to speak. In August we have the 2nd Annual My
House Summer Block Party. Stop in and Check out the Build Challenge, Simville
Families REUNITE!. Pick from a list of beloved Maxis Families and give theme the
themed family reunion of their dreams. We'll also be playing bingo all month
long, with fabulous FAKES by ibabluerhino for the winners, and some special
custom participation gifts for the lucky blackout winners. Don't forget the
jigsaw puzzle, Sims Trivia, and other fun games that will be posted throughout
the month, all with totally awesome gifts.

If you're just not the party type, stop in and check out the newly revamped
Activity Alcove. Upload a barebones version of your own real life home and see
how other members would make it over, or try out one of our Mix & Match
Challenges, you pick the challenge, you pick the gift. Last, but not least, we
have the new Chain Challenge area, where members have the chance to post their
own mini challenge. The winner of Shalimara's wedding challenge, Detached, will
be posting a new challenge anyday now.

Don't forget that every member who posts an introduction post on The Verandah
also get access to the Toy Box, where our wonderfully talented and generous
house members have shared some spectacular gifts, not to mention it's the only
place in town to get all the retired challenge and game gifts from events past.
