Rick,
I love the TCS playing time is long but the cool part is the orders etc Hunters
can be played without orders.
Leros is my fave you get to plan the defense the invasion etc.

Subject: [Virtual_Wargamers_Club] The Gamers' TCS series
I took advantage of the MMP sale of TCS games and got HUNTERS FROM THE SKY
and LEROS.
Anybody in the group playing these? From my first read through the rules, this
doesn't seem THAT different from PzG. However, the reported game times are
horrondeously long. Is that true? Is it due to the command rules or something
else?
I'm hoping to settle on a PzL/PzB scale game which is playable via VASSAL and
has historical scenario / map support similar to the Advanced Tobruk series.
I think that it would be a no brainer if it were not for AP's anti-VASSAL
policy. But, since there is not much I can do about that, I might go with PzB2
(but I prefer the PzG/TCS point attack approach to tank combat) over the PzB2 AT
approach. Can TCS be streamlined to play quicker (or is the whole "TCS crawl" a
thing of legend)?
Someone willing to take me through the TCS paces?
