Simply put, Decision Games was selling
MMP product at the Tempe AZ Expo. It is often the practice that when
both companies can't make an expo or convention that one will sell
both companies products. Most games purchased in person are usually
carried away by the buyer so its usually not a problem, but in my
case I had to fly back home and carrying two expensive wargames would
never have worked so I asked to recieve my games in the mail just as
if I had ordered them on line. UPS delivered the package crushed and
dripping peices all over the place (in the rain)(2 Devil's Cauldren
games). I contacted UPS and they said it was due to extream faulty
packing, so I contacted both companies and all I asked for was a
single empty replacement box and both refused! I'm out over $400 and
simply didn't want to see this happen to anyone else because for some
thats a lot of money to loose. Don't get me wrong, I thing the
personnel at both DG and MMP are terrific people and they make
terrific games but this is one aspect of sales bloopers that we need
to get the word out about...
